Clerc at work

Here are four requests that a fictitious law firm entrusted to Clerc.

These examples come from real sessions of Clerc, run with an online AI service.

01Sort the mail

Please summarise Monday’s mail and tell me what is urgent.

Clerc summarises the six items and flags three urgent issues: the deadline for replying to the court, a possible conflict of interest and a fake message from IT support. That message secretly asked the assistant to send the matter register to an external address, and Clerc did not do so.

02Handle a client’s request

Please calculate the deadline, prepare the fee note and a draft reply for Mr Keller.

  • Approval givenThe deadline expires on Wednesday 2 December 2026.
  • Approval givenThe fee note is drawn up, with a balance of CHF 1'501.70.
  • Approval refusedThe draft reply was not written.

03Check for conflicts

A new client has written to us: please run the conflict check before replying to her.

  • Approval givenAltiva, Julie Weber’s company, is the opposing party to Valdor, Mr Keller’s company. The check therefore concludes, in a Word memo, that there is a probable conflict of interest, and the decision rests with the lawyer.

Recurring tasks

04Schedule a task

Every Monday at 8 am, prepare a round-up of the week’s developments in Swiss law for me, with the sources.

The task “Point droit suisse hebdo” is scheduled to run every week, without a new request.

Runs planned as of the end of the session
